Our flagship product, Landscape Navigator, makes energy-landscape methodology accessible to structural biologists and discovery teams without requiring them to become energy-landscape specialists.
An energy landscape is a map of stable molecular conformations, the pathways between them, and the energetic or dynamic constraints that shape those pathways.
Instead of relying on a single structure or snapshot, scientists can reason in terms of ensembles of conformational states and the pathways that connect them, gaining a clearer grasp of the structure and dynamics of complex biological systems.
We provide an efficient toolkit for the analysis, storage, and retrieval of landscape-derived data. The Landscape Navigator (LN) client, the DOHD ROTU Knowledge Base, and our compute supercluster make it possible to generate, inspect, query, and compare these data across targets, chemical spaces, binding poses, and AI-assisted workflows.
We then use energy landscapes with potentially hundreds of thousands of conformations to guide AI-assisted screens across billions of small molecules.
DOHD ROTU has several active in-house drug discovery programmes. The tools and services described here were built first for our own discovery work: to support the fight against cancer and emerging infectious threats, and also to diversify our pipeline through pilot projects that create mutual benefit with partners.
Our capabilities extend from in silico modelling to experimental validation through partner wet-lab programmes, with collaborators who understand our discovery pipeline and optimise assays around its requirements.

Company
DOHD ROTU builds scientific infrastructure for mechanism-driven discovery.
Our work sits at the boundary between energy-landscape science, computational modelling, AI-assisted analysis, and practical product engineering. We help teams reason about molecular systems as dynamic ensembles, where states, transitions, cavities, and binding opportunities matter more than a single static picture.
The company began in Oxford in 2019 as Dodrotu, an award-winning UK information technology research and development company. Its founders brought together Cambridge University scientific training, high-performance computing and optimisation, Ukrainian scientific roots, and computer systems and functional programming expertise from Colombia.
Before its current focus on drug discovery, Dodrotu was started as an augmented communication company. It developed applications that extended traditional communication with AI, drawing on optimisation, machine learning, signal and natural language processing, video and audio processing, and artificial neural networks.
Dr Tetyana Bogdan was central to the company’s early story and to the seriousness with which DOHD ROTU now approaches cancer biology and assistive vision. The company’s current discovery work grows from that personal history as well as from its technical foundations.
DOHD ROTU now applies this background to scientific infrastructure, data products, and discovery programmes. The same engineering culture that began with communication, perception, optimisation, and AI is now directed toward tools and partnerships that help researchers make better decisions about complex biological systems.
